La Gomera has got a beautiful climate all year around. The nicest time to come here is between late autumn and spring. The temperatures at the coast are always between 20 - 29°C but in the mountains it can get cold from time to time. Rain is possible in the winter month, though the risk of rain is remote in the southern and south-western parts of the island.
Trade winds here on La Gomera, which carry beneficial rain, has caused the development of interesting species of vegetation and facilitates the forming of clouds which place a certain phantasmagorical note in its woods. However, at only some miles distance, in the south of the island, there is a different microclimate, pleasant and mild, and its beaches are pleasantly warm.
